For Mr Gosar, a senator whose roots can be traced back to Slovenia, a visit to Postojna Cave was the realization of a lifelong dream and both he and his wife were greatly impressed by the subterranean paradise.
"A wonderful visit to see the marvels of the earth. A rare example of man maintaining a unique treasure" wrote the congressman and thanked the managing director of Postojna Cave, Marjan Batagelj, for a wonderful welcome to Postojna. The cave, which is in 2019 celebrating 200 years since it became a show cave, also wowed Mr Gosar’s wife, Maude Gosar, who was especially impressed by the professional approach of Postojna Cave’s tour guides, who provided her with professional answers to all of her interesting questions. The awe-inspiring subterranean world of Postojna Cave and a splendid official reception made sure both of them promised to come back to Postojna.
